I have been beginning to wonder, why is this all happening? More than anything, how? and why do I have these powers. The Lab couldn't have made me into this. They must have released it, but then. Who am I. Am I really who i think I am? How do I define who I am? I know my name is Koen, and that Fang and I are being hunted. By who the hell knows what. We know we have powers that we still are learning. My control over fire, and his incredible, well everything. We need to go somewhere. Somewhere that feels like home, but everywhere I go. My friends, loved ones, just seem to slip away and leave me. I seem almost waiting for Fang to go. I know it will happen, eventually, at one point or another.
We found a small village near the sea, and we found someone who knew about the Castle and the Lighthouse. That it was only a three-day trip from here. I was relieved to hear this. A sanctuary of my dreams. I think this will end soon, hopefully, I will find out who I am. My past, my reason for existence. What force has been compelling me to live. When so many times I should have died.

Aasera...
We never found what happened to Emyrs, since Fang ran back to grab me. -he actually lifted me and carried me away-, we dont talk about it because we all knew that he died. Late that night, Aasera had to, uhm use the ladies room, and because we were in the forest. Aasera got up late that night and when we woke up, we found her, dead. My sword through her gut, Fang and I, aren't really sure how, but were too scared to ask eachother.
We buried Aasera the following morning, and went into town. Our faces as were morbid, and our bodies tired. We stayed at the inn that night, and only then to have to keep going..
A dream I have been having. A place, beyond all imagination, more than this new world now. A castle, with a Lighthouse in the background, near the Ocean. such beauty. yet...the skies were black as night, and a wicked storm brewed. I had to find it. So I had told Fang, "We must go to the Sea, my dreams tell me so. I have nothing to lose, as do you. It will be worth our time.
I think i know now. I must walk alone. My blessing, my curse. All i know now, is that someone will pay.

Emyrs...
When we left the town the next day, we came to a gorge. There was a fifty foot land-formed bridge connecting our side to the other. So in single file line we slowly crossed the bridge. When we were about halfway across, when those wolf guys from way way back in the beginning starting pouring of of nowhere, from the side we came from. Emyrs immediately drew his sword and grabbed his shield, and as quickly as he did. He turn and ran straight into them all. He shouted back, "Save yourself, Fang," He paused. "This is my service to you may you light sanctification to others. Koen, what you and Aasera have, I will never have, nor do I wish to impede upon it. Take care of each other. All of you"
He cut through the first wave of the wolf men as he unleashed blasts of light and roared cries of battle.
By the time we made it across, Emyrs was overwhelmed. It, it was horrible, but he kept valiantly fighting. Casting aside his weapons he lunged into the air, and wings of light burst out, followed by two key-shaped weapons. (keys to heaven, its a Christian thing, there are two keys to heavens gate.) he arced back and plummeted downward into the fray once again, and as he slashed and cut, we saw his body overwhelmed by them. The bright valiant light, became dark and shadowy as he became enveloped in the shadows.
-wait WHAT!!?!?! They were lycans just a moment ago. uh... yeah, anyways-
I ushered the others into the forest on the other side, only looking back quick to see Emyrs. There he stood. All alone, but instead of his shining hauberk and white uniform. He wore a dark duster coat, with the hood pulled up over most of his face, but... his eyes shown through. Glowing, ominously out at me. The keys, now darker, sustained. He...just stood there, the shadows were completely swarming the other side now. I threw aside my cloak, planted my feet and positioned my hand flat against the air pointing at the bridge with my fingers spread. Focusing all my energy into the bridge, I conjured up an immense amount of fire, into the shape of a shuriken. Spinning it, i jumped into the air, turning a full 360 degrees (for torque power) and hurled it at the bridge. Shattering it.
And, still Emyrs just stood there, surrounded by these shadows, that were slowing closing in on him. I knew he would be killed. I didn't want to think it then, so I ran to catch up to Fang and Aasera.

NEW TOWN!-HAPPY! oh So HAPPY
in continuation from where i last left off. let me give a more recent description of Aasera. She's maybe 5foot 5inches, roughly. she has a dark brown/black hair with brownish highlights. she has a darker shaded tan, She wears a grey hoody and a pale green skirt over blue jeans. with sneakers.
We came into the next little village, let me say. If I have ever had a good time, it was there. I forgot about ALL my troubles. There was a dance that night, and we all went. We learned how to swing dance. Aasera and I got a few dances in, a few because she was able to go up and sing some of the music, and I was able to play the trombone on some of the songs. It was just, amazing. The music, the dancing, it just wants you to keep doing it till you drop and cant do it anymore. Fang and Emyrs stayed out. Mostly because they couldn't find someone to dance with. I think Aasera and I are getting very close.

I, think I know! hopefully.
Fang, Emyrs, and I went out to go find the others. After about the second day, strange creatures began to appear and attack us. On the third day we notice that the person who destroyed my sword, was again, following us. The next night, while the others were sleeping, I sneaked out and looked for whoever it was that was following us. After what I assumed to be roughly an hour and a half, I had found him. Well, at least I had thought it was a him, before I saw a most defenant HER. I approached, only to step on a branch, sending an echoing *snap* quite loudly throughout the area. Her body moved, Oh no, she noticed me. This time I might get killed. She rolled over facing me directly, but this time in place of a mask, a beautifully youthful face was there, almost shining up at me. I actually fell over in not just embarrassment, but her beauty. Then the thought registered. Its Aasera! As quickly as I fallen, I was back on my feet. She stood there, in a zipped up sleeveless vest, and a pair of blue jeans. "uh...hey" I had said, "uhm, yeah...er, sorry to wake you.
She responded in a lilting voice, "no, its okay. I needed to get up anyways. uhm, by any chance have we met before." but before those words were finished she stopped, and gasped. Clasping her hands over her mouth. "ohmy, your that boy whose sword I broke. I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you! You look so different!"
I stepped forword, "Its okay Aasera," I told her, and I held her close to me, "everything is okay, and always...will be. As long as...we, are together"
She looked up at me, into my eyes, and I down to her's. We stood there, holding each other and staring into each others eyes. Then as if by instinct, I picked her up, and held her in my arms, and came in to kiss her, only to be met by her moving in to kiss me as well. Time seemed to become lost.
Before the morning came, Aasera and I ran back to the camp to meet Fang and Emyrs for breakfast. Both of us ecstatic.

These Dreams of Late
I've been having this dream, I don't know what it means, or why I'm having it. They're always the same. Fang, Aasera and I, on an tropic island. Not stranded, just there. Nothing less, nothing more. We were happy as I can imagine. Only, theres something that isn't quite right. The picture looks happy but, I can tell that it isn't. I miss Aasera, I didn't know her that well, but i felt i needed to hold her and just tell her it would be alright. No matter what was going on. She was that kind of person, and now, I think I've gone and lost everything all over again.
This dream, I've been wondering if they're real or not, each time though. The dream gets darker and darker. As if darkness itself was consuming my dream. The island seems to slowly fade away, and last night, it disappeared. I have heard of dreams foreshadowing events that will come, but i don't know what this means.

The Connoisseur
A few days passed, and I decided to go out into the city, to the best place for weapons, or so I'm told. The Connoisseur. The mastermind of weaponry. One of odd things of this was, although he is one of the richest people in the city, he lives in the not-so-rich part of the city. So i had to have Emyrs lead me there. We took this elevator-esque platform thing to the lower levels of the city. It took us about ten minutes to get there, but it was so worth it. When we entered the building in which the connoisseur lived. An immense aura of well, everything. It was very overwhelming presence. An old man sitting there, his beard flowing out only beaten by his flowing robes. "uhm, hey. I need a new sword, since my fathers sword sorta got destroyed."
The old man responds slowly, "Come, closer. Hold out...your dominant hand." Swiftly poking, prodding and measuring my arm he continues. "Hrm, well-built muscles, and bone structure, and a kinesis unseen for many years. Calling out to a worker, to get something called "Tsubeno" Upon the workers return, only a few moments later, he handed the old man a sword, but not only was it a sword. A katana. "You posses a rare gift," he began. "your control over fire, but not only that makes you a rarity. Your aura, is that not seen for a thousand years. So very similar to his. Nonetheless, take this sword, and see if it suits your fitting"
The Saya (scabbard) was black wood, with a beautifully handpainted design. The leather wrapping was a bold white. The hamon(a part of the blade) had a fiery red tinge) with a spear engulfed in flame etched into one side, And a kanji for Kirin, on the other. Swinging it around, the balance was good. I cut at the air, and it was more silent that possible. "I'll take it," I told the old man. "how much"
"Mhm, oh! That would be 100Kachings."
"uhm, sir, no disrespect, but what the hell is a Kaching?"
"Ah, i see your not from around here. A Kaching is the currency of this domain. That would add up to about a thousand Earth dollars."
Right as I was about to fall back and scream I DONT HAVE THAT MUCH. Emyrs interceded pulling out a bag of jingling coins, and dumping it on the table. "This should cover the price for this...sword." As quickly as he said that, he turned on his heel, and walked out of the store. Leaving me quite alone. I pickedup the sword, and secured it to my side. I walked outside and burst into a run, to get back as fast as I could.
